The PROMETHEUS is the ideal venue for your bucks party ! As you will see below Prometheus is uniquely spacious, modern and stylish. Our open floor plan has plenty of room for you and your guests to move around across two large levels. We have plenty of space for a DJ, decorations, food stations etc. Our staff and management are also highly experienced and super friendly and will go to great lengths to make sure your bucks party is something not to forget.
Large, Modern, Open Floor Plan
Prometheus has two large areas on the upper level to enjoy the views. The outdoor deck is has space for 36 guests standing and sitting (hugely popular on a nice day to enjoy the sunshine). The indoor deck also has space for 36 guests standing and sitting. Unlike many boats, these two decks are on the same level and joined by a large open sliding glass doors. Also, unlike many boats, the indoor area is almost entirely surrounded by large windows meaning even when indoors everyone can feel out outdoor vibe.
With these features in mind you can be confident that you and your guests will the able to enjoy the music the view the party and the atmosphere !!
After a major refurbishment in 2022 Prometheus is now one of the most modern and stylish yachts on Sydney Harbour. The entire interior was replaced with new. Our goal was provide maximum floor space by moving furniture to create what is now a single area. The photo above shows just some of the available floorspace and the open doors. The enormous sunroof above the inside deck can be opened all the way to create even more ‘outdoor’ area.
Night Time Hens Parties are epic !
If your bucks is going to be at night then the Prometheus is next level. If you are going to have entertainment and want a bit of atmosphere we have lights onboard to create a club environment. Once again, our new open plan layout provides enough space for everybody to be inside, or outside or both !! The inside deck with the sunroof open is also great at night.
Complete Second Level - Even More Space
PROMETHEUS has two levels. The lower level has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a large galley (kitchen) and another lounge seating area. This space is available to guests to use as well as a space to store belongings, luggage and so on, keeping the upper deck free and open for people to move around in comfort.
The lower level is bright and inviting thanks to large windows and a surprisingly large skylight. At night, the lights can be dimmed down to create a more intimate atmosphere.
The galley (kitchen) is located on the lower level and this is where we generally setup our buffets stations. There is seating and tables near in the area for sit down eating.
The lower lounge area is popular for private shows with entertainers.
The bedrooms are available for guests to store their belongings, get changed if they want to go for a swim or as another area to go and sit and talk. Two of the bedrooms are large and have lots of standing area.
Three bathrooms are provided for convenience. Each bathroom has a shower, toilet, basin and large mirror.
Dining / Catering Options
On Prometheus you have unlimited catering options. We have a broad range of catering options, including Buffet’s, Gracing Stations or platters. We also have Canape options where each course will be brought around by the staff to all guests.
Unlike many other vessels, we welcome you bringing your own food (and drinks) should you prefer. That includes from any external catering company of your choice. In that situation your are welcome to pre-deliver food (and drinks) to the the boat at Pyrmont. Our staff will take care of everything and have everything when you and your guests board the boat. There are no additional charges for you choosing your own food and drinks service.
DJ or Your Own Music
If you are having a DJ Prometheus for your bucks party then Prometheus has a dedicated space for them to setup. That space is facing outwards so the they can see all the guests, inside and out. If you would prefer your own music, we have a top of the line Bose Sound system with speakers on the upper deck both inside and outside. You can connect your own music device via Bluetooth.
Water Toys
For a small extra fee we can install a inflatable pool and inflatable pontoon that extends the fun down to to the water line. The pontoon is perfect for sunbaking or lounging around outside the water, while the (netted) pool is perfect to escape the heat.
Entertainment Options
We accept all bucks party entertainment options. Should you not have your own options, please feel free to contact us and we can provide a list of agencies that we regularly work with. Please note your entertainers are counted as guests when determining the number of passengers onboard.
